Immediate Past District Governor Randy Pinch has been a member of
the Wyoma Lions Club since 1991. IPDG Randy has two children and
four grandchildren. He has recently retired from the Mass.
Commission for the Blind where he worked for the past 18 years and is
once again an umpire for the Mass. Baseball Umpires Association.
IPDG Randy has served in many positions for his club including
president and secretary. On the District level IPDG Randy has
been Zone Chair, a member of the Visual Aids Foundation, Cabinet
Secretary Treasurer, Vice District Governor and District
Governor. Last year as District Governor of 33N, total club
donations to MLERF were the 3rd highest in the history of our
district. IPDG Randy is currently serving on the State Leadership
Committee, the MLERF Board of Directors; he is the State Chair for
Journey for Sight, the District 33N LCIF Chair, Certified Guiding Lion
for the new Wilmington Lions Club and secretary of his club.
IPDG Randy is a progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, a
Sight Award recipient, and a Kostro Fellow. He has been awarded
three International Presidents Certificates of Appreciation and he has
attended the Leadership Development Institute. IPDG Randy has
also been honored with the International President's Leadership Award
by Immediate Past International President Al Brandel for his
accomplishments as District Governor last year. IPDG Randy works
closely with all the clubs, volunteering to help out wherever he is
needed whether it be at the Newburyport or Lexington road races, White
Cane day in Saugus or Melrose, or running fundraisers for his own
club. IPDG Randy is not only a good Lion, but a good person who
puts the needs of others before his own.

The Dr Charles L. Schepens Lifetime Achievement In lionism award was established by the Nahant Lions Club in 1992 to honor Dr. Schepens (1912-2006) on the occasion of his 80th birthday
Dr Schepens was a member of the Nahant Lions Club for over forty eight years. Dr. Schepens,recognized worldwide as a pioneer in eye research , founded the Schepens Eye research Institute in 1950.
The Nahant Lions Club presents the award to a Lion
of District 33N annually on the second Wednesday in May. Nominations
are accepted by the president of the Nahant Lions Club through
February.
